  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Radiographer Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The technologist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient imaging that supports patient diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform high-quality radiographic imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
    2. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
    3. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
    4. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety.
    5. Monitor patient status during procedures and respond appropriately to changes.
    6. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records.
    7. Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
    8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and workflow efficiency.
    9. Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the Cath Lab.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
    2. Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    4. Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and equipment operation.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, team-oriented environments.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
    2. Prior experience in interventional cardiology or cardiac catheterization procedures.
    3. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    4. Experience in patient education and procedure preparation.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    3. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
    4. Additional specialty certifications in cardiovascular imaging are a plus.
