Job Summary:
The Learn Tech Trainer II is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs focused on learning technologies and digital tools. This role supports the development of employee skills by providing effective instruction, troubleshooting technical issues, and promoting best practices for utilizing learning management systems (LMS) and related educational technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions on learning technologies, software applications, and digital tools.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to end-users on the use of LMS platforms and other educational technologies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, user guides, and tutorials.
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to training software and platforms.
- Stay current with emerging learning technologies and recommend enhancements to improve training delivery.
- Assist in coordinating training schedules, resources, and communication with stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in training methodologies and user engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training delivery or educational technology support.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Cornerstone).
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide clear user support.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate training or adult education environments.
- Certifications in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD).
- Knowledge of multimedia content development and video editing tools.
- Experience managing learning projects or coordinating large-scale training programs.
Certifications:
- Relevant professional training certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Training Management - CPTM) are a plus but not required.
