  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
    2. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
    3. Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
    4. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications
    5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
    6. Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital policies
    7. Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self
    8. Assist in maintaining and calibrating CT equipment to ensure optimal performance
    9. Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and best practices

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
    2. Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
    3. State licensure as required by local regulations
    4. Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and safety protocols
    5. Excellent communication and patient care skills
    6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience as a CT Technologist in hospital or outpatient settings
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
    3. Advanced training in specialized CT procedures (e.g., cardiac CT, trauma imaging)

    Certifications (if any)
    1. ARRT (CT) Certification required
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
