  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team. This role involves delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient overflow, supporting bed expansion, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to address urgent and critical medical needs.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Patient Care: Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the emergency department, managing overflow and supporting bed expansion as needed, including in hallways.
    2. Treatment & Administration: Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to physician orders and patient care requirements.
    3. Collaborative Care: Work in partnership with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless care delivery.
    4. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant environment by adhering to hospital policies, best practices, and regulatory guidelines.
    Required Qualifications
    1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in an emergency department (ED) or a similar acute care setting.
    2. Availability: Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW) and one winter holiday per year.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) will also be considered.
    2. Skills: Strong adaptability and the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting.
