JOB SUMMARY
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging examinations in an emergency department setting.
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to achieve optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media as required for CT examinations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Schedule / Shift
• Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• On-call: 2 call shifts per month
• Holiday requirements apply
• Potential to rotate to other shifts based upon staffing needs

Required Qualifications
• General radiology technologist experience.
• CT experience.

Certifications
• ARRT(R)(CT)
• SCRQSA
• BLS

Experience
• Experience in an emergency department setting.

Skills
• Proficient in performing emergency department x-ray and CT examinations.
