  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role plays a vital part in helping patients improve communication abilities and overall quality of life through individualized therapy plans.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Conduct patient evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions.
    2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
    3. Provide therapy to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
    4. Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and communication strategies.
    5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
    6. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
    7. Supervise and mentor Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and support staff as needed.
    8. Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    2. Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
    3. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques.
    4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    5. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in hospital, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    3. Specialized training or experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurological disorders.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
