Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Inpatient (Wound Care) to join our hospital team. The Wound Care Nurse will respond to consults, manage the wound census across the facility, and provide expert care to patients requiring specialized wound and ostomy management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to wound care consults throughout the hospital.
2. Manage and maintain the wound census.
3. Perform wound staging and vac dressing changes.
4. Complete wound consult documentation accurately and efficiently.
5. Provide care and management for patients with new ostomies.
6. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years of direct wound care experience.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
3. Strong clinical skills in wound staging, vac dressing changes, and ostomy management.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
1. Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.
2. Advanced training or coursework in wound care management.
Certifications (if any)
1. Wound Care Certification (WCC), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or equivalent (preferred but not required).
