JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment. This role involves assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology studies, and peripheral interventions. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and team player, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary, structural heart, and peripheral interventions.
• Prepare the cardiac cath lab and equipment for procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Administer medications as directed by the physician.
• Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment, including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the Meditech system.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Schedule / Shift
• Days: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Rotation: Evenings and weekends (as per call requirements)

Required Qualifications
• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must be a Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist.
• Demonstrated ability to function well independently.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Experience
• Proficiency in performing cardiac catheterization, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and peripheral interventions.
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures.

Skills
• Technically proficient in operating cardiac cath lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
