Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring continuity of care, and supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an ambulatory care environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide patient education on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to physicians and families.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory or outpatient care.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, or specialty practices.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
