JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services within an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability for patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
- Administer therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of modalities and techniques.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies to promote recovery and independence.
- Document patient progress, treatment efficacy, and plan of care in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Attend team conferences and contribute to the overall rehabilitation process.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides as appropriate.

Schedule / Shift
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekends

Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Certifications
- BLS

Experience
- Previous experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) is preferred.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings may also be beneficial.

Skills
- Proficient in conducting patient evaluations and developing treatment plans.
- Skilled in administering a range of physical therapy interventions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
