  • Job Summary  
    The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role ensures patient safety, provides high-quality diagnostic images, and maintains compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
    2. Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
    3. Operate CT equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
    4. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
    5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic medical systems.
    6. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
    7. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
    8. Assist with quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
    9. Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and safety protocols.
    4. Excellent communication and patient care skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
    2. Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
    3. Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.
    Certifications (if any)
    1. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT – required.
    2. State licensure (if applicable).
    3. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
