Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. Ensure patient safety and comfort, and provide quality diagnostic information to referring physicians.

    Key Responsibilities
    Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
    Position patients for optimal imaging.
    Administer contrast media as needed.
    Perform quality control tests on imaging equipment.
    Maintain accurate patient records.
    Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
    Follow established safety protocols and procedures.

    Required Qualifications
    High school diploma or GED.
    Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
    Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT.
    State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
    Current CPR certification.
    Minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
    Knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
    Proficiency in PACS and RIS systems.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience with multimodality imaging, including CT, MRI, and X-ray.
    Experience with specialized imaging techniques.
    Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    Advanced certifications in specific imaging modalities.
