  • Job Summary
    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and assists with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. 
    This role supports patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with clinical standards and healthcare regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
    • Monitor and report patient conditions, vital signs, and changes in behavior to nursing staff
    • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper safety techniques
    • Support patient comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
    • Assist with basic clinical tasks as directed by licensed nursing staff
    • Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
    • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
    • Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and organizational policies
    • Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and ethical care practices

    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    • Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program
    • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the applicable state
    • Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and safety procedures
    • Ability to follow clinical instructions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and observational skills

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience in hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings
    • Experience working with geriatric or medically complex patient populations

    Certifications
    • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
    • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (if required by facility or state regulations)
