plaintext JOB SUMMARY The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. - Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care planning and delivery. - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. - Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Schedule / Shift Per Diem: Nights
Required Qualifications - Licensed Registered Nurse in Oklahoma or a multi-state compact license. - BLS certification through the American Heart Association. - ACLS certification through the American Heart Association. - Vent/trach experience. - Knowledge of central lines.
Preferred Qualifications - Wound care experience.
Experience - Two to five years of experience required.
