Job Summary
We are hiring a Data Entry / Administrative Associate to join our operations team in Cumberland, RI. This role supports internal processes related to prescription and patient record documentation. While the position is based in a call center environment, there are no inbound or outbound customer calls required. It is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented candidates with strong data entry or administrative experience who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry into internal systems related to prescription and patient records.
- Open and organize incoming mail and correspondence.
- Enter receipts and documentation into internal applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Review and organize prescription-related records.
- Provide administrative support for internal teams, including patient call backs and departmental coordination.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or call center environment.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy environments.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or medical terminology.
- Experience working with patient records or prescription documentation.
