  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room to provide rapid assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The Emergency Room Nurse works in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on the severity of illness or injury.
    2. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
    3. Administer medications, treatments, blood products, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
    4. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
    5. Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with emergency procedures and interventions.
    6. Operate and monitor emergency and life-support equipment.
    7. Stabilize trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and other critically ill patients.
    8. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
    9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
    10. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, EMS personnel, and other healthcare team members.
    11. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
    12. Participate in emergency preparedness, quality improvement, and departmental initiatives.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
    2. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
    3. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
    4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
    5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
    6. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
    7. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    8. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Previous experience in an Emergency Department, Trauma Center, Critical Care, ICU, or Acute Care setting.
    3. Experience caring for trauma, stroke, cardiac, pediatric, and behavioral health patients.
    4. Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and evidence-based practices.
    5. Familiarity with triage systems and emergency response procedures.
    6. Pediatric emergency care experience.

    Certifications
    1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    3. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
    4. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (preferred).
    5. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification (preferred).
    6. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Certification (preferred).
    Note- Travel Experience Required
