  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting physicians throughout the process. This role requires strong clinical judgment, circulator/scrub experience, and expertise in managing patients with cardiac conditions.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
    2. Circulate and scrub for Cath Lab procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker/ICD implants, and ablations.
    3. Administer medications and manage advanced therapies such as cardioversion, defibrillation, rapid transfusions, and sheath removal.
    4. Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and telemetry; promptly report abnormalities.
    5. Interpret 12-lead EKGs and dysrhythmias.
    6. Manage central lines, PICC lines, PA lines, CVP monitoring, and vascular access devices (Port-A-Cath, triple lumen catheters).
    7. Operate syringe pumps and infusion devices for critical medications.
    8. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
    9. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia management and advanced cardiac procedures.
    4. Circulate and scrub experience in Cath Lab procedures.
    5. Proficiency in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience with implants, ablations, and advanced cardiac device management.
    3. Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required.
    3. Certification in Cardiac/Vascular Nursing (preferred).
