  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a local healthcare setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
    2. Assist physicians and RNs with examinations, procedures, and patient treatments.
    3. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
    4. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
    5. Support patients with daily living activities as needed.
    6. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards.
    7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
    8. Report changes in patient condition promptly to supervising staff.
    9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based goals.

    Required Qualifications
    • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
    • Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
    • Strong clinical and patient care skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a local healthcare environment.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    • Advanced certifications such as IV therapy or wound care are a plus.

    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
    • Additional specialty certifications – preferred.
