JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant provides direct support to physicians and nurses by performing patient intake, vital signs, and clinical preparation. This role ensures exam rooms are properly set up and sanitized, assists with patient flow, and maintains accurate records. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Record patient vitals including height, weight, and blood pressure
Prepare exam rooms by cleaning, setting up, and ensuring readiness for patients
Assist physicians and nurses during patient visits
Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
Support patient intake and ensure smooth clinic operations
Utilize EMR systems (Epic knowledge preferred)

Required Qualifications:
Active Medical Assistant Certificate
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent, related experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Epic EMR system
Prior work in outpatient or hospital settings

Certifications:
Medical Assistant certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
