  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry to join our inpatient care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care across multiple MedSurg/Telemetry units, demonstrate strong cardiac and telemetry skills, and adapt quickly to diverse patient populations and unit requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Deliver safe and effective nursing care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
    2. Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; successfully complete on-site exam with a minimum score of 84%.
    3. Administer IVs using Meditech and EPIC systems.
    4. Provide specialized cardiac care and monitor patients with complex conditions.
    5. Float between multiple MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed.
    6. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    7. Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Proficiency in Meditech IVs and EPIC systems.
    4. Ability to independently read telemetry strips.
    5. Strong cardiac care experience.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. 3–5 years of prior float experience.
    2. Ability to adapt to 5 different MedSurg/Telemetry units.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required.
    3. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – required.
