plaintext JOB SUMMARY Seeking a certified Radiology Diagnostic Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This role will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities - Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. - Position patients correctly for imaging to ensure optimal diagnostic quality. - Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. - Maintain patient records and documentation accurately in accordance with facility policies. - Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable to role).
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - TMB (Texas Medical Board) - or applicable state licensure
Experience - Previous experience as a Radiology Diagnostic Technologist.
Skills - Proficient in performing various diagnostic imaging procedures. - Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
