  • JOB SUMMARY
    Provides diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve patient communication and functional abilities.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through standardized and non-standardized assessments.
    - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
    - Provide direct therapy services to patients in areas such as articulation, fluency, language comprehension and expression, voice production, and dysphagia management.
    - Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and strategies for management.
    - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    - Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
    - Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings.
    - Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing education.

    Required Qualifications
    - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    - State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

    Experience
    - Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.

    - Proficient in conducting comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations.
    - Expertise in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment strategies.
    - Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
    - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
    - Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
