  • JOB SUMMARY
    The ICU/CCU Float Pool RN provides critical care nursing support across multiple units during the night shift (1900–0730). This role is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring coverage during staffing shortages. Nurses in this role must be flexible, experienced, and capable of adapting to various clinical environments including ICU, CCU, telemetry, and med-surg units.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver high-quality nursing care in ICU/CCU and other acute care units
    • Float between departments as needed, including Cascade Valley and other affiliated facilities
    • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
    • Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary
    • Support continuity of care during transitions between units or shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington RN license
    • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or CCU experience
    • AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
    • Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across units
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in telemetry, med-surg, and emergency departments
    • National certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN)
    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
