  • Job Summary  
    The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. This role supports patient treatment plans, administers medications, monitors patient conditions, and delivers compassionate care in alignment with clinical standards and organizational policies.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering prescribed medications.
    2. Assist physicians and registered nurses with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
    3. Document patient information accurately in medical records and electronic health systems.
    4. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices.
    5. Support patient comfort and safety by responding promptly to needs and concerns.
    6. Perform wound care, catheterization, injections, and other nursing procedures as directed.
    7. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
    8. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
    9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
    2. Current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state.
    3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in acute care, long-term care, or specialty clinical settings.
    2. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    3. Experience in patient education and counseling.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
