  • JOB SUMMARY

    This temporary Warehouse Operator position supports the shipment of customer orders by following established procedures and guidelines for selecting, checking, and packing items. The role also includes processing inbound shipments through unpacking and restocking, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and utilizing various equipment to fulfill orders. Exemplary attendance and adherence to the schedule are required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Packs items for shipment to customers according to established procedures.
    • Checks chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, special requests, unit sizes, and weights against order documentation.
    • Applies required labels and markings to boxes to comply with hazardous materials regulations.
    • Stages finished boxes for shipment.
    • Accurately pulls materials from stock areas for customer orders.
    • Stages completed orders in the appropriate area of the facility.
    • Uses proper equipment for order fulfillment (pallet jack, selecting carts, packing equipment, etc.).
    • Unpacks shipments for put away.
    • Picks up trash and debris in workstation and stock areas.
    • Keeps work area and stock location safe, clean, and organized.
    • Keeps packing materials organized and stored safely.
    • Performs shelf maintenance in stock areas.
    • Audits shelves to ensure inventory accuracy and proper product location.
    • Inventories, orders, receives, and stores materials using SAP.
    • Performs miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Ability to read, hear, speak, and understand English.
    • Written and oral communication skills.
    • Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, packing equipment (tape machines, etc.), and various cutting instruments.
    • Ability to operate PCs and printers.
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted; ability to move more than 50 pounds with assistance.
    • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Picking and packing experience required
