  • JOB SUMMARY

    The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and backlog while serving as the voice of the customer. This role requires a highly strategic and collaborative professional who can independently lead solution discovery, navigate ambiguity, and translate business needs into actionable product outcomes. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional leadership to deliver innovative solutions that align with customer needs and organizational objectives using human-centered design and Agile methodologies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define, communicate, and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Serve as the voice of the customer and advocate for user-centric product development practices.
    • Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with evolving business requirements and strategic goals.
    • Independently drive solution discovery activities, identifying opportunities, validating assumptions, and recommending solution approaches.
    • Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and discovery sessions to understand business challenges and opportunities.
    • Navigate ambiguous business situations and facilitate alignment among stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
    • Translate business objectives and customer needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable product requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Establish and maintain effective feedback loops with customers and stakeholders to validate ideas and guide product direction.
    • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
    • Analyze customer feedback, business trends, and market opportunities to drive product innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
    • Monitor product performance and success metrics to ensure business value realization.
    • Drive product decisions and provide guidance on priorities, scope, risks, and dependencies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within business expectations.
    • Champion Agile best practices and promote continuous improvement across product and delivery teams.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience serving as a Product Owner in Agile product development environments.
    • Strong experience driving solution discovery independently.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and facilitate stakeholder understanding and alignment.
    • Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis.
    • Experience defining product strategy, product roadmaps, and backlog management practices.
    • Strong experience gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements.
    • Experience creating:
    o User Stories
    o Acceptance Criteria
    o Product Backlogs
    o Process Flows
    o Functional Requirements
    • Experience working with Agile methodologies and iterative product delivery models.
    • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Development, Architecture, QA, and Business Operations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to influence decisions and build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience using Generative AI tools to enhance product management activities, requirements analysis, documentation, and productivity.
    • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
    • Experience supporting customer service, customer experience, or service management platforms.
    • Experience with human-centered design methodologies and customer journey mapping.
    • Experience working within enterprise-scale Agile environments.
    • Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe or similar methodologies.
    • Experience leveraging product analytics and customer feedback to drive roadmap decisions.
    • Experience working across multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholder groups.

    CERTIFICATIONS

    • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred.
    • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) preferred.
    • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification preferred.
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred.
    • Salesforce Service Cloud Certification (preferred).
