  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Java Developer to build enterprise services and develop appropriate solutions to business problems. The role involves designing, developing, and modifying enterprise-wide applications, supporting application releases across production and non-production environments, and contributing to application stability, code quality, and continuous improvement within an Agile environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Build services and develop appropriate solutions to business problems.
    • Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications.
    • Prototype solutions, recommend adoption of new technologies, and continually improve client experience.
    • Support development and deployment of application software releases to production and non-production environments.
    • Lead and drive code quality while maintaining application stability in an Agile environment.
    • Collaborate with architectural peers, product owners, UX/UI teams, internal and external stakeholders, and globally distributed teams to understand requirements and develop applications in compliance with client needs.
    • Assist in the development of overall project plans and timetables, including analysis and identification of intermediate deliverables.
    • Define engineering best practices and mentor teams in writing maintainable code using effective automated unit tests and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
    • Develop specifications for new products, services, applications, and service offerings.
    • Meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.

    Required Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience with Java 17+, Spring 6, and JPA.
    • 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle, including PL/SQL, stored procedures, tuning, and optimization.
    • Extensive experience developing large-scale SaaS applications using the Spring Framework and Hibernate.
    • Experience with enterprise application servers such as WebSphere or Tomcat.
    • Solid experience with RESTful API and microservices development.
    • Experience with Docker and deployment tools supporting continuous delivery and DevOps.
    • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery, automated testing, and tools such as JUnit.
    • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and iterative development methodologies.
    • Experience with Rally, Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
    • Outstanding problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
