Job Summary
The Salesforce Tech Lead will provide hands-on technical leadership for Salesforce development initiatives, with a strong focus on Financial Services Cloud (FSC). The role combines hands-on development, solution design, technical leadership, mentoring, integration, and delivery oversight. The Tech Lead will guide Salesforce developers, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, ensure adherence to Salesforce architecture and development best practices, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and configuration of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud capabilities, including Household and Client relationship models, Financial Accounts, Financial Goals, and Action Plans.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers while ensuring adherence to coding and project standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and enforce development and architectural standards.
• Lead Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, leveraging standard platform capabilities where appropriate.
• Guide development of Lightning pages, Dynamic Forms, and automated Salesforce Flows.
• Design, manage, and troubleshoot integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and native Salesforce integration capabilities.
• Apply appropriate integration patterns, trigger frameworks, deployment strategies, and CI/CD practices.
• Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate development activities across distributed teams and serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholder communication.
• Ensure quality through appropriate test coverage, unit testing, continuous integration, and release management practices.
• Monitor Salesforce solution performance and implement optimization opportunities.
• Lead troubleshooting and debugging efforts for complex Salesforce issues.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and features and recommend adoption strategies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Implement and enforce best practices for Salesforce development, testing, deployment, and release management.
Required Qualifications
• 8–9 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3+ years in a technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including its data model, Household, Financial Account, Financial Goal, Action Plans, and industry-specific business processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience leading Salesforce development teams and delivering Salesforce projects.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security models, sharing rules, record types, and governor limits.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and native integration tools.
• Experience with trigger frameworks, integration patterns, and CI/CD deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of FSC-specific security, compliance, and data considerations for financial services environments.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring developers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to manage technical priorities and lead delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Knowledge of Agentforce.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting banking, wealth management, or insurance solutions.
• Experience with advanced Salesforce architecture and design patterns.
• Experience coordinating onshore and offshore development teams.
• Experience with Salesforce performance optimization and complex production troubleshooting.
Must have Certifications – Must Have: Developer Certification (Platform Dev 1) and AppBuilder Certification. • Preferred: Salesforce Platform Dev 2. • Good to Have: Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Accredited Professional, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect or Consultant (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) Certifications, Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer. • Latest Certifications (Added plus): AI Associate/ Data Cloud / Agentforce Specialist. requirement
