  • JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions in a complex Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP EWM processes, supply chain execution, warehouse operations, system integration, and end-to-end implementation lifecycles. This role requires a self-driven professional capable of independently managing projects from requirements gathering and functional design through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design, configure, validate, and support SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions across end-to-end supply chain and warehouse management processes.
    • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and solution specifications.
    • Prepare detailed functional specifications for SAP custom developments and enhancements.
    • Lead and support SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and post-production support activities.
    • Analyze business processes and identify functional gaps, recommending scalable system solutions.
    • Configure and optimize SAP EWM capabilities including inbound, outbound, warehouse internal processes, material staging, and inventory management.
    • Support integration between SAP EWM and related SAP modules including PP, QM, SD, MM, IM, MES, and Controlling.
    • Create and execute system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
    • Develop UAT scripts, test plans, cutover plans, and implementation documentation.
    • Facilitate issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution while tracking progress through completion.
    • Conduct user training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to business stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with project methodologies, documentation standards, and SDLC best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating ownership, accountability, and initiative.
    • Adapt to evolving business priorities in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of overall SAP experience with at least 5 years specializing in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
    • Proven experience designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions.
    • Hands-on experience with full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and post-go-live support.
    • Strong expertise in warehouse management processes within manufacturing or engineer-to-order environments.
    • Extensive experience managing SAP EWM configuration and support activities.
    • Strong knowledge of:
    - Logistics Execution
    - Inbound Processing
    - Outbound Processing
    - Internal Warehouse Processes
    - Production Material Staging
    - Physical Inventory Management
    • Experience with Inbound and Outbound Processing, including POSC and LOSC.
    • Working knowledge of Automatic Inbound Processing using ASN/EDI integrations with external systems such as Ariba.
    • Experience with:

    - RF Solutions
    - Wave Management
    - Replenishment Processes
    • Strong understanding of SAP EWM master data and integration with:
    - Materials Management (MM)
    - Production Planning (PP)
    - Quality Management (QM)
    - Sales & Distribution (SD)
    - Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
    - Inventory Management (IM)
    - Controlling (CO)
    • Working knowledge of:
    - SAP Batch Management
    - Handling Unit Management
    - Service Management
    • Ability to gather and document business requirements and participate in blueprinting activities.
    • Experience preparing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation and system cutover plans.
    • Strong experience creating Functional Specifications for SAP custom developments.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, process documentation, and end-user training skills.
    • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver project objectives effectively.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of experience participating in SAP EWM implementation projects.
    • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs.
    • Previous experience in Manufacturing and/or Automotive industries.
    • Experience supporting large-scale warehouse management and supply chain transformation initiatives.
    • Knowledge of best practices for engineer-to-order and manufacturing business processes.
    • Experience working in global enterprise environments.

    • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) (Preferred)
    • SAP S/4HANA EWM Certification (Preferred)
