Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to support strategic initiatives across the Data and Integration (Interoperability) landscape. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for defining testing strategies, driving quality standards, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality enterprise data and integration solutions. A key focus of the role is advancing test automation capabilities across data, API, and integration domains while balancing ongoing project delivery needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end QA efforts across data, integration, and interoperability initiatives.
• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and quality processes.
• Partner with architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Validate complex data flows, transformations, mappings, and reconciliation processes across multiple platforms.
• Test APIs, web services, services, event-driven workflows, and interoperability solutions.
• Establish and track quality metrics, defect trends, and release readiness criteria.
• Drive root cause analysis and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor QA team members and promote quality engineering best practices.
• Champion test automation and identify opportunities to increase automated test coverage.
• Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies across enterprise environments.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Balance strategic quality leadership with hands-on testing and automation execution.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including 3+ years in a QA Lead or Test Lead capacity.
• Strong experience testing enterprise data and integration solutions.
• Experience validating complex data transformations, data mappings, and end-to-end business workflows.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong SQL and data-validation skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Proven experience leading testing activities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic quality leadership with hands-on execution.
• Strong QA automation experience.
• Experience creating automated API, integration, and regression test suites.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern integration architectures.
• Experience testing interoperability solutions and enterprise data exchanges.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and quality engineering principles.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with performance, reliability, and integration testing.
• Working knowledge of healthcare, clinical, and operational data domains.
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability concepts, data exchange workflows, and clinical data structures.
Test Automation:
• Demonstrated success building and scaling test automation practices across enterprise environments.
• Experience developing and implementing test automation strategies.
• Experience creating automated API, integration, and regression test suites.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience reducing manual testing effort while improving quality and release velocity.
• Experience establishing automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience identifying opportunities to automate data validation and end-to-end workflow testing.
Education:
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
