Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Workday Solutions Architect to lead the transition from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday HCM. This pivotal role will involve collaboration with a Systems Integrator (SI) and internal stakeholders to ensure a successful and seamless implementation of Workday HCM modules. Your expertise will be key in shaping the system to meet strategic HR business needs and driving user adoption.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration project from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday HCM in partnership with the Systems Integrator.
- Act as the client-side technical lead to ensure a timely, efficient, and high-quality implementation.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
Review and validate the design and configuration of key Workday modules including:
- Core HR
- Benefits
- Payroll
- Talent Management
- Develop and oversee the execution of robust data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to developers, analysts, and testers.
- Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
- Monitor industry trends and Workday best practices to recommend system improvements.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide support to facilitate system adoption.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Workday Solutions Architect, specifically in HCM implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in migrating from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday HCM.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM functionalities and configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Workday certification (HCM or related modules)
- Experience in performance optimization and system integration
- Exposure to Workday reporting and analytics
Certifications:
Workday HCM certification preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
