  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for enterprise software applications. This role involves collaborating with software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure applications meet quality, performance, and reliability standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API automation, SQL/PL-SQL, Java-based automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and Quality Engineering methodologies.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Translate business and system requirements into comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans.
    • Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and supporting tools.
    • Develop high-quality, maintainable automation solutions following Quality Engineering best practices.
    • Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles when designing automation solutions.
    • Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
    • Validate RESTful web services using automation frameworks.
    • Develop reusable automation utilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
    • Measure, analyze, and report key Quality Assurance metrics.
    • Collaborate with development teams to improve automation frameworks, processes, and coding standards.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance automation platform maintainability and scalability.
    • Lead the development of end-to-end test strategies for enterprise applications.
    • Drive automation coverage across assigned applications and services.
    • Support cloud-based testing initiatives and modern Quality Engineering practices.
    • Participate in CI/CD implementation to enable continuous testing and delivery.
    • Work across multiple projects while effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • 6–9 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
    • Strong experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
    • 4+ years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python.
    • 5+ years of hands-on test automation framework development experience.
    • Strong expertise in Java-based automation development.
    • Experience validating RESTful APIs using Rest Assured, Karate, or similar frameworks.
    • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and database validation.
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
    • Solid understanding of BDD, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Docker and containerized testing environments.
    • Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
    • Experience with mobile application testing.
    • Experience using Service Virtualization tools.
    • Understanding of non-functional testing, including performance and scalability testing.
    • Experience leading automation initiatives and mentoring Quality Engineering teams.
    • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
