  • Job Summary:
    The Client Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing onsite implementation activities and serving as the primary point of contact during customer deployments. This role coordinates Client implementation resources, manages equipment installation and configuration, ensures accurate asset tracking, and supports successful delivery of customer solutions according to approved future state designs. The position requires strong technical knowledge, customer-facing skills, and the ability to travel extensively to support implementation projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the day-to-day single point of contact for customer sites during implementation activities.
    • Lead onsite Client implementation resources, including Client carriers, third-party installation resources, Client office analysts, and trainers.
    • Manage implementation activities according to customer-approved future state designs.
    • Coordinate equipment delivery activities, verify accuracy, and resolve issues related to defective or incorrect devices.
    • Ensure proper placement of equipment according to approved future state design floor maps.
    • Coordinate installation of new, moved, and unchanged devices and ensure proper configuration based on client requirements.
    • Validate device functionality and confirm successful testing after installation.
    • Coordinate onsite movement of Client and third-party equipment according to approved floor plans and asset disposition requirements.
    • Ensure all new, moved, and unchanged Client devices are properly asset tagged.
    • Collect and maintain accurate asset information, including make, model, serial number, MAC address, IP address, and device location.
    • Maintain installation checklists and ensure completion of all required asset updates.
    • Coordinate removal of equipment from client networks and ensure proper staging or disposition of removed devices.
    • Provide regular communication to Implementation Managers and Implementation Coordinators regarding project progress, risks, and issues.
    • Travel extensively throughout the United States, including occasional weekend travel.
    • Perform extensive walking in office and manufacturing environments.
    • Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of technical service experience.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills on moderate-sized projects.
    • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
    • Understanding of printer, copier, fax, and scanner configurations.
    • Knowledge of networking protocols and print system requirements.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
    • Ability to program printers and Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) to access configuration information.
    • Ability to accurately position devices according to approved future state design floor plans.
    • Ability to identify, document, and report exceptions.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of an implementation team.
    • Ability to take ownership of client satisfaction and project deliverables.
    • Ability to travel to different customer locations for extended periods.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
    Additional technical certifications such as MCSE or CNE preferred.

    Certifications:
    A+ Certification required.
    Network+ (N+) Certification required.
