  • Job Summary
    The Analyst – EIT Program/Sys 1 provides technical support for Energy/Utilities Field Operations applications, including Geographical Information System (GIS), Work Management Information System (WMIS), and Mobile Data System (MDS). This role involves application development, configuration management, system administration, hardware/software support, troubleshooting, and security. The analyst is responsible for solution design, integration, enhancements, and documentation of operational procedures while providing end-user support in a 24/7 environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Support Utility Field Operations Applications (GIS, WMIS, MDS) to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable electric and gas services
    2. Install, configure, and test applications in Windows, Linux, and Citrix environments
    3. Develop enterprise applications for cross-business unit use
    4. Promote code and configuration from lower environments to production
    5. Provide end-user support for Electric and Gas business areas
    6. Analyze and troubleshoot application/system issues and provide resolutions
    7. Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for server builds, OS patching, hardware tuning, and monitoring
    8. Work with Database Administrators on backups, patches, schema changes, and refreshes
    9. Integrate applications with other enterprise systems (e.g., OMS, SAP)
    10. Gather business requirements and complete assigned tasks
    11. Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations

    Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    2. 1–2 years of experience in Energy/Utilities field operations application support
    3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    5. Ability to work in a team environment and across multiple locations (field, construction centers, main office)
    6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience developing mobile and/or web applications
    • Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS and Schneider Electric ArcFM products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcFM Designer, ArcFM Mobile, ArcFM Web)
    • Experience with CGI ARM Work Management System
    • Experience with ABB Service Suite for field mobility operations
    • ntegration experience with SAP/ERP
    • Knowledge of Citrix, Windows, UNIX Shell scripting, Python, Oracle PL/SQL, ArcGIS SDE, ESRI Geometric and Utility Network

    Certifications
    No specific certifications required; technical or GIS-related certifications are a plus
