Job Summary
The PLM UAT professional will bring 10+ years of PLM experience with strong hands-on expertise in PLM tools such as Teamcenter and a deep understanding of business processes and testing principles. The role will lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), translate business workflows into test scenarios and acceptance criteria, coordinate defect resolution across business and technical teams, and drive UAT readiness, execution, and sign-off. The professional will work independently and lead teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering within tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end UAT planning, scenario design, execution, and sign-off in regular coordination with the project team.
• Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders and apply PLM expertise to drive UAT activities through closure.
• Translate business workflows and requirements into UAT scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Lead defect triage and coordinate with business users, engineering, and OSS teams to prioritize and close defects.
• Bridge business and QA teams to ensure business processes are accurately represented in UAT coverage.
• Drive UAT status reporting, readiness assessments, and execution tracking.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and application owners to ensure complete testing coverage.
• Apply PLM business process knowledge to identify gaps, dependencies, and potential risks during UAT.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the UAT team while ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PLM tools, including Teamcenter.
• Strong expertise in Change Management processes within PLM.
• Strong expertise in Configuration Management processes within PLM.
• Strong expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.
• Experience with PLM integrations.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, particularly User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of the underlying business processes associated with PLM.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently under tight timelines.
