  • Job Summary
    The Consultant (Product Owner) is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to deliver high-value software solutions. This role focuses on defining product vision, managing product backlogs, gathering business requirements, and driving product enhancements that improve customer value, operational efficiency, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive Product Owner experience, strong Agile and SAFe expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
    • Drive product enhancements that increase customer value, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers, customers, and stakeholders to define, develop, and refine requirements for complex software products.
    • Manage and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and product backlog.
    • Define, clarify, prioritize, and maintain user stories based on business and technical requirements.
    • Work closely with Product Managers and development teams to understand business processes, use cases, technical requirements, and product objectives.
    • Ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
    • Gather customer requirements and provide recommendations on product features and strategic direction.
    • Present and demonstrate product solutions to customers and external stakeholders as required.
    • Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Mentor team members on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe best practices.
    • Support iterative software development and promote continuous improvement within Agile teams.

    Required Qualifications
    • Agile Product Owner Certification.
    • 8+ years of Product Owner experience.
    • Strong experience with Agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.
    • Thorough understanding of iterative software development methodologies.
    • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
    • Experience defining and managing product backlogs, user stories, product roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
    • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, technology, and support teams.
    • Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira or VersionOne.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Demonstrated collaboration, empathy, and ownership mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working in the Finance or Trading domain.
    • Experience supporting complex enterprise software products.
    • Experience mentoring Agile teams and promoting Agile best practices.
