  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This role will provide technical leadership, develop interactive dashboards and visualizations, optimize data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and modern data engineering practices.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance for reporting and analytics initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Analysts, and development teams to deliver business intelligence solutions.
    • Develop and maintain semantic models, data models, and custom Power BI visualizations.
    • Build scalable reporting solutions using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M Language).
    • Integrate Power BI solutions with Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
    • Design and optimize star schema, snowflake schema, and other scalable data models.
    • Develop efficient SQL queries and optimize Snowflake query performance.
    • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), governance policies, security settings, and user access management within Power BI.
    • Support embedding Power BI reports into enterprise portal environments.
    • Implement Power BI development standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
    • Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and visualization issues.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for BI and data solutions.
    • Work with cloud platforms and enterprise data services to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
    • Mentor developers and analysts while removing technical blockers and supporting Agile delivery.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M Language), semantic models, and custom visuals.
    • Experience embedding Power BI reports into enterprise applications or portal environments.
    • Strong understanding of Power BI governance, security, user access management, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
    • Experience developing large-scale data visualization solutions.
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data integration, data modeling, SQL development, and query optimization.
    • Strong experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data analysis.
    • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling concepts, including star schema and snowflake schema.
    • Advanced SQL skills with experience optimizing queries against large datasets.
    • Experience implementing BI development standards and reporting best practices.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for business intelligence and data solutions.
    • Experience with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Data Sharing, and Snowflake Streams.
    • Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience working in Agile software development environments.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience serving as a technical lead for reporting and analytics projects.
    • Experience leading teams of developers and analysts.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and business intelligence best practices.
    • Experience coordinating with Architects, Product Owners, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver enterprise reporting solutions.
