Position Summary
This entry-level Software Engineer role (1-year duration, with potential extension) focuses on developing high-quality software systems for measurement, inspection, gauging, data collection, machine vision, image processing, machine learning, and reporting systems in support of Client divisions. New graduates are welcome if they demonstrate relevant technical experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software systems for manufacturing activities.
- Interface sensors, motion, lighting, and cameras; implement advanced logic on collected data.
- Resolve software issues and manage enhancements.
- Execute SDLC practices to ensure efficient project completion.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field (Master’s or higher encouraged).
- 0–3 years of experience in technical, multi-discipline engineering teams.
- Object-oriented software analysis and design.
- Proficiency in C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, Web Services, and Microservices.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with version control tools: Git, GitLab, SubVersion, or Visual SourceSafe.
- Understanding of SDLC processes and tools.
- Strong problem-solving, testing, and QA skills.
