  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to help automate the testing of products and ensure product quality and release readiness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites while working closely with application owners, developers, and business stakeholders. This role requires a software engineering approach to testing, with a focus on automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and continuous quality improvement.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
    • Define and develop automation testing frameworks and reusable testing artifacts.
    • Work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to review requirements and implement testing solutions.
    • Build and maintain automation frameworks using modern testing tools and technologies.
    • Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
    • Perform automated and manual testing to investigate, isolate, and resolve technical issues.
    • Conduct rapid prototyping to validate concepts and solutions.
    • Write source code, adapt existing components, and test developed components.
    • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements.
    • Work within DevOps environments and support CI/CD processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
    • Mentor and support the development of junior technical team members.
    • Participate in automation and quality engineering communities to promote best practices.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and infrastructure.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 6+ years of professional testing or development experience involving UI and API automation.
    • Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks in large enterprise environments using Playwright and/or Cypress.
    • Experience using TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
    • Experience with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
    • Ability to investigate, isolate, and resolve technical issues across the technology stack using automated and manual testing methodologies.
    • Experience testing Angular or Vue-based user interfaces.
    • Experience testing RESTful web services.
    • Experience working in a DevOps environment.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools.
    • Experience with Git, Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy.
    • Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases from business requirements.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
    • Interest in learning and adopting new technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with GraphQL.
    • Experience with code quality and code coverage tools such as Sonar or Sealights.
    • Experience with accessibility testing.
    • Experience mentoring junior technical team members.
