Job Summary
We are seeking an SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing (B&I) Consultant to design, implement, and support end-to-end procurement (P2P) processes. This role focuses on configuring SAP Ariba solutions, integrating with ERP systems, and optimizing procurement and invoicing workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes using SAP Ariba B&I
- Translate business requirements into system configurations, including catalogs, purchase orders, and invoicing
- Configure procurement workflows, approval processes, and invoice reconciliation
- Enable Guided Buying to enhance user experience and streamline purchasing
- Set up supplier collaboration features for order and invoice processing
- Integrate SAP Ariba with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, Oracle) for procurement and invoicing workflows
- Configure and test interfaces between SAP Ariba and backend systems
- Automate tax calculations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and optimize invoice processing and payment cycles
- Handle exceptions such as invoice mismatches and reconciliation issues
- Support supplier onboarding and integration with the Ariba Network
- Implement controls, audit trails, and reporting for compliance and governance
- Conduct user training sessions and develop documentation (user guides, SOPs)
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system performance optimization
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing (B&I)
- Experience implementing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Hands-on experience configuring procurement workflows, catalogs, and invoice reconciliation
- Experience integrating SAP Ariba with ERP systems (SAP ECC, Oracle, or similar)
- Understanding of tax validation, compliance, and procurement governance
- Experience with supplier onboarding and Ariba Network integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vertex or similar tax integration tools
- Experience working in large enterprise procurement environments
- Familiarity with reporting, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Experience delivering training and documentation for end-users
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and process optimization
