Technical Manager – DevOps

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Technical Manager to lead and govern DevOps operations, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD delivery, and application modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in DevOps environments and a background in Insurance and Group Benefits domains.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and govern CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment frequency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Oversee cloud infrastructure planning, provisioning, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
Coordinate with cloud architects and infrastructure teams on architecture reviews and modernization initiatives.
Ensure cloud operations align with business continuity, disaster recovery, and security requirements.
Provide oversight for enterprise .NET and Windows-based application portfolios.
Review technical solutions, architecture decisions, and implementation roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Ensure adherence to release management, deployment strategies, change management, and production support processes.
Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and technical teams.
Drive operational excellence through automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in IT with significant experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure leadership.
Experience managing Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.).
Knowledge of .NET and Windows-based application ecosystems.
Hands-on understanding of release management, change management, and production support.
Experience leading technical teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
Insurance and Group Benefits industry experience is required.
