JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Multimedia Technician to support the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio/visual equipment and related technologies. This role provides technical support for corporate events, board meetings, and public outreach sessions, ensuring seamless communication and presentation experiences.
Key Responsibilities • Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/visual equipment, broadcasting encoders, desktop computers, laptops, multifunctional printers, scanners, plotters, video conferencing systems, and mobile devices. • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for A/V equipment, printers, scanners, desktops, laptops, phones, and handheld devices. • Support board meetings, forums, customer outreach events, and public input sessions. • Set up, operate, and break down audio/visual equipment for internal and external events. • Assist with corporate communication and public relations events. • Schedule and coordinate delivery and installation of A/V and printer equipment. • Create troubleshooting procedures, product documentation, end-user training materials, and manage vendor relationships. • Participate in call duty rotation to provide 24/7 support as needed. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on printers, plotters, and scanners. • Relocate PC and MFP equipment as required. • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency. • Maintain technical skills through research, training, and conferences. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Entry-level experience in setup, support, and maintenance of audio/visual equipment (LCD/LED TVs, projectors, PA systems). • Experience with multifunctional printers, scanners, and plotters. • Familiarity with tiered support structures. • Ability to follow directions, analyze problems, and deliver results. • Basic knowledge of PC networking concepts and Windows Active Directory. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with a favorable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications • Associate’s degree or higher. • Basic knowledge in audio/visual technologies. • Basic knowledge in reprographics.
