Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support data conversion, implementation, and corporate action initiatives within a Defined Benefits environment. This role is responsible for analyzing client data, identifying data quality issues, supporting implementation projects, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data conversions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and data analysis skills, experience working with data exchange processes, and knowledge of Defined Benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Support client corporate action and data conversion initiatives.
• Analyze client source data to identify data quality issues, root causes, and remediation recommendations.
• Lead data update activities throughout implementation projects and ongoing client support.
• Analyze business and system requirements related to data conversion and implementation activities.
• Support multiple implementation and data update requests simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout implementation projects.
• Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of converted data.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies during conversion and implementation processes.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document data requirements for implementation projects.
• Learn and apply organizational systems, data loading processes, and implementation methodologies.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and analysis to support project execution and ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Implementation Analyst role.
• Strong experience with data analysis and data validation.
• Experience supporting data conversion, implementation, or corporate action projects.
• Knowledge of data exchange processes and data integration concepts.
• Experience working with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of Defined Benefits pension administration.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or SnapLogic.
• Experience with programming languages used for data processing or automation.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise applications and technology platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale data implementation or migration projects.
• Familiarity with pension administration systems and data conversion best practices.
