Job Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst will support the Web Technology team by facilitating requirements gathering sessions, translating business needs into Agile/Scrum user stories, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions. This role requires strong technical acumen, system analysis expertise, and the ability to work across business and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into Agile/Scrum user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Generate and maintain system design and technical documentation
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver new features and enhancements
- Analyze application workflows and understand end-to-end system functionality
- Support defect triage and root cause analysis through code and log analysis
- Manage product backlogs and support minimum viable product (MVP) definition
- Work closely with QA teams on testing scenarios and validation activities
- Monitor scope changes, project risks, and escalation items
- Contribute to systems analysis standards and best practices
- Mentor junior systems analysts when needed
- Support multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced Agile environment
Required Skills:
- Strong Java API knowledge
- Strong technical acumen and systems analysis expertise
- Experience generating system design documents
- Hands-on experience with:
- - Splunk
- - Jira
- - DevSecOps tools and practices
- Ability to understand software architecture and application workflows
- Experience reading and analyzing code and logs for troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in:
- Computer Science
- Management Information Systems
