  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to provide infrastructure operations support for private cloud environments, primarily focused on VMware and OpenShift platforms. This role involves monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and availability of enterprise applications in a shift-based operations environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to alerts in a 24/7 shift-based environment
    • Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues as necessary
    • Support and maintain VMware environments, including patching and upgrades
    • Administer Linux-based systems, including Red Hat environments
    • Support containerized workloads and platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
    • Assist with networking, firewall configurations, and routing-related tasks
    • Collaborate with application teams to ensure system reliability and performance
    • Maintain system availability and support continuous improvement of infrastructure operations

    Required Qualifications
    • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure or site reliability engineering roles
    • Experience as a VMware administrator, including patching and upgrading VMware products
    • Strong background in Linux/Red Hat systems
    • Familiarity with containerized environments such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
    • Experience with PowerShell or scripting tools
    • Knowledge of networking concepts including firewalls and routing
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a shift-based operational environment

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with NSX-T or similar networking technologies
    • Knowledge of micro-segmentation in VMware environments
    • Experience with load balancers such as Avi
    • Experience with firewall tools and network security
    • Exposure to public cloud platforms
    • Experience with container orchestration tools and infrastructure automation
