  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of business transformation and emerging technology. This role is approximately 60% technical and 40% functional and requires the ability to understand complex business problems, architect AI-powered solutions, build and deploy production-ready systems, and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
    The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of combined industry and technology experience, including meaningful functional or industry experience in areas such as Finance/Banking, Supply Chain/Logistics, Manufacturing/Operations, or Commodities/Trading. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in AI, Generative AI, software engineering, data, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems, along with strong business and executive communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Embed directly with business stakeholders to understand business problems, desired outcomes, and operational requirements.
    • Lead transformative solution engagements end-to-end, from problem definition and solution architecture through development, deployment, and measurable business outcomes.
    • Architect, engineer, and deploy AI-first solutions including LLM-powered agents, RAG pipelines, GenAI workflows, and intelligent automation.
    • Translate ambiguous strategic business problems into clear technical requirements, solution architectures, and actionable development plans.
    • Translate technical constraints and architectural considerations into business trade-offs that leadership can understand and act upon.
    • Build and deliver working prototypes rapidly, iterate directly with users, and prioritize solutions based on measurable business value.
    • Design and implement AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and intelligent automation solutions using modern AI technologies and frameworks.
    • Develop and integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, and business systems.
    • Apply domain expertise to challenge assumptions, validate business requirements, and establish credibility with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities to create repeatable solution patterns and playbooks that can be applied across business domains.
    • Work effectively in fast-moving and resource-constrained environments with limited oversight.
    • Communicate technical architectures, solution trade-offs, business outcomes, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with engineering, data, product, architecture, and business teams throughout solution delivery.
    • Continuously evaluate emerging AI, ML, cloud, and software engineering technologies and apply relevant capabilities to enterprise solutions.

    Required Qualifications
    • 12+ years of combined industry and technology experience with meaningful experience working within business or functional environments.
    • Functional expertise in at least one of the following domains: Finance/Banking, Supply Chain/Logistics, Manufacturing/Operations, or Commodities/Trading.
    • Demonstrated experience defining and driving business transformation initiatives and owning measurable outcomes.
    • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and translating business strategy into technical execution.
    • Hands-on experience integrating Large Language Models such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini into enterprise solutions.
    • Strong experience with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agent design, and multi-agent orchestration.
    • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
    • Understanding of LLM fine-tuning fundamentals.
    • Strong SQL and NoSQL experience, including data modeling and working with structured and unstructured enterprise data.
    • Experience designing data pipelines using ETL/ELT technologies.
    • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools.
    • Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP acceptable.
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with API design and enterprise system integration.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise security fundamentals.
    • Strong hands-on Python development experience.
    • Proficiency in at least one additional programming language.
    • Experience with full-stack development when required to deliver business solutions.
    • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, trading systems, ERP, CRM, or comparable domain-specific platforms.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience operating in startup or resource-constrained environments.
    • Experience delivering AI-first solutions from concept through production deployment.
    • Experience building reusable AI solution patterns, frameworks, or playbooks across multiple business domains.
    • Experience working with enterprise AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
    • Experience working with cloud-native architectures and modern DevOps practices.
